Narrative objectives1 - The purpose of this systematic review is to clarify the effect of hematoma removal under VATS compared to conservative treatment in patients with residual haemothorax/undrained hemothorax/retained hemotorax on outcomes such as drainage duration, length of ICU stay, complications (bleeding/infection), and number of days on ventilator.
