Objective: Narrative objectives1 - To investigate the acute effect of caffeine supplementation on sprint running performance in track-and-field athletes during the time schedule of competitions. Basic objectives2 - Efficacy

Intervention: Interventions/Control_1 - During one experimental day, the below combination of (the first 60-m sprint)-(the second 60-m sprint) with ingesting placebo (PL) or caffeine (CF) is performed. Washout periods are set between experimental days. A: PL-PL -> CF-PL -> CF-CF Interventions/Control_2 - During one experimental day, the below combination of (the first 60-m sprint)-(the second 60-m sprint) with ingesting placebo (PL) or caffeine (CF) is performed. Washout periods are set between experimental days. B: PL-PL -> CF-CF -> CF-PL

Eligibility: Age-lower limit - 18 years-old = Gender - Male and Female Key inclusion criteria - 1: Sprinters, hurdlers, or jumpers who have training habituation (2 h/day, 5 days/week, and equal to more than 1 year) to improve athletic performance 2: Athletes who can perform all-out sprint running Key exclusion criteria - 1: Smoking status within one year 2: Injury which makes difficult to perform all-out sprint running 3: Cardiovascular or mental diseases 4: An allergy of caffeine or prescribed meals Target Size - 30
