Narrative objectives1 - The objective of this study is to assess the level of knowledge and attitudes regarding cervical cancer and the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine among women residing in Mukalla City, Yemen. The study aims to identify gaps in awareness and misconceptions that may impact the acceptance and uptake of cervical cancer prevention measures. Understanding these factors will help inform targeted public health interventions to improve cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination coverage in this population.

Women aged 18 years and above.
Residents of Mukalla City, Yemen.
Women capable of providing informed consent to participate.
Women with no prior diagnosis or treatment for cervical cancer.
Key exclusion criteria - Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant women.
Women with a history of cervical cancer or precancerous cervical lesions.
Women currently undergoing treatment for any gynecological cancer.
Women with cognitive impairments or conditions limiting their ability to participate or respond to survey questions.
