Tokyo, July 17 -- UMIN Clinical Trials Registry (UMIN-CTR) received information related to the study (UMIN000062262) titled 'Neurophysiological Markers of Post-Stroke Fatigue in Convalescent Stroke Patients: A Resting-State EEG and CPT-AX NIRS Study' on July 17.

Study Type: Interventional

Study Design: Basic Design - Parallel Randomization - Non-randomized Blinding - Open -no one is blinded Control - No treatment

Primary Sponsor: Institute - Kio University

Condition: Condition - healthy person patients with post stroke fatigue patients without post stroke fatigue Classification by malignancy - Others Genomic information - NO

Objective: Narrative objectives1 - To investigate the neurophysiological mechanisms of post-stroke fatigue (PSF) and identify objective biomarkers. Basic objectives2 - Efficacy

Intervention: Interventions/Control_1 - For participants with post-stroke fatigue, resting-state EEG will be recorded as a physiological assessment. NIRS measurements will also be performed during the CPT-AX task. Subjective fatigue will be assessed using a visual analog scale (VAS) before and after the task, and fatigue severity will be evaluated using the MFI-20 before the task. Interventions/Control_2 - For participants without post-stroke fatigue, resting-state EEG will be recorded as a physiological assessment. NIRS measurements will also be performed during the CPT-AX task. Subjective fatigue will be assessed using a visual analog scale (VAS) before and after the task, and fatigue severity will be evaluated using the MFI-20 before the task.

Eligibility: Age-lower limit - 18 years-old <= Age-upper limit - Not applicable Gender - Male and Female Key inclusion criteria - Healthy controls Stroke patients with post-stroke fatigue Stroke patients without post-stroke fatigue Key exclusion criteria - Persons who cannot understand the research or the explanation of the assignment Target Size - 30

Recruitment Status: Recruitment status - Preinitiation Date of protocol fixation - 2026 Year 07 Month 17 Day Anticipated trial start date - 2026 Year 07 Month 25 Day Last follow-up date - 2029 Year 03 Month 30 Day
