Narrative objectives1 - To investigate the effects of electroacupuncture applied to the quadriceps femoris muscle on center of pressure sway, and to clarify the associated changes in muscle strength and activity.

Key exclusion criteria - History of neurological disease.
Individuals for whom acupuncture is considered inappropriate, including those with immunodeficiency or coagulation disorders.
