Tokyo, Aug. 18 -- UMIN Clinical Trials Registry (UMIN-CTR) received information related to the study (UMIN000058746) titled 'Investigation of the Combined Effects of Jump Training and Radial Pressure Wave Therapy' on Aug. 18.

Study Type: Interventional

Study Design: Basic Design - Parallel Randomization - Randomized Blinding - Open -no one is blinded Control - Active

Primary Sponsor: Institute - Kanazawa University Graduate School

Condition: Condition - Not applicable Classification by malignancy - Others Genomic information - NO

Objective: Narrative objectives1 - To examine the effects of combining radial pressure wave therapy with plyometric training on physical performance and Achilles tendon structure in healthy adults. Basic objectives2 - Efficacy

Intervention: Interventions/Control_1 - Participants undergo an 8-week plyometric training program, conducted three times per week. The program focuses on jump-based exercises designed to improve physical performance. Interventions/Control_2 - Participants receive an 8-week plyometric training program (three times per week) combined with radial pressure wave therapy once a week. The pressure wave therapy is applied to the area around the Achilles tendon to promote structural and functional adaptations.
