Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate separation of a disused tape.SOLUTION: A component mounting line comprises a plurality of component mounting machines having: a mounting machin main body that receives supply of a component from a first tape feeder supplying the component by a paper tape housing a plurality of components or a second tape feeder supplying the component by a plastic tape and mounts the component on a substrate; and a disused tape transfer device which can transfer a disused tape after the supply of the component to both of an upstream side and a downstream side of a transfer direction of the substrate. In the mounting machine main body of a first component mounting machine group of the plurality of component mounting machines, a first tape feeder is set, and in the mounting machine main body of the component mounting machine adjacent on the downstream side of the transfer direction of the substrate to at least a predetermined component mounting machine of a second component mounting machine group, a second tape feeder is set.
