Japan, Sept. 18 -- TERADA CO LTD,NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED INDUSTRIAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY has got intellectual property rights for 'CURRENT DETECTOR USING SHUNT RESISTOR.' Other related details are as follows:

Application Number: JP,2022-111455

Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detector using a plurality of shunt resistors, in which cost reduction is achieved by a simple composition and noise immunity is improved.SOLUTION: A detection circuit 10a-1 of a current detector 1A adds up and amplifies the voltages of shunt resistors S1, S2 at a first amplification rate, and a detection circuit 10a-2 adds up and amplifies the voltages of the shunt resistors S1, S2 at a second amplification rate that is higher than the first amplification rate. A voltage detection circuit 11a shuts down the detection circuit 10a-2 when the output voltage of the detection circuit 10a-1 is higher than or equal to a saturation voltage VS. A microcomputer 12A converts the output voltages of the detection circuits 10a-1, 10a-2 into current values Ia1, Ia2, and selects the current value Ia1 when the current value Ia1 is greater than or equal to a current value IS and selects the current value Ia2 when the current value Ia1 is smaller than the current value IS, then determines a current value Ia after temperature correction. The microcomputer 12A determines a current value Ib of a second system in the same way, adds up the current values Ia, Ib, and outputs a measured current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 (Grant)
