Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster prevention vehicle which includes a tilt mechanism that can deal with increase in the weight and size of a cab after modification when modified portions of the existing cab increase.SOLUTION: A disaster prevention vehicle includes a tilt mechanism 5 which is connected to a chassis frame 2 and a cab 3 to rotate the cab 3. The tilt mechanism 5 comprises: a cylinder bracket 51 which is attached to the chassis frame 2 so as to protrude to the outer side in the left-right direction from the chassis frame 2; and a tilt cylinder 52 which extends in the vertical direction and is attached to the cylinder bracket 51 in a manner of freely rotatable longitudinally at a rotation shaft 52c. The tilt cylinder 52 comprises: a cylinder tube 52a in which a rotation shaft 52c is provided in a medial portion in the vertical direction; and a cylinder rod 52b which can freely expand/contract with respect to the cylinder tube 52a and whose tip is attached to the rear end of the cab 3.
