Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention metal fitting which can prevent fall of a suspension metal fitting fastening bolt from a section steel material even if the suspension metal fitting fastening bolt is loosened by vibration or the like, and does not cause deformation resulting from a load applied in a horizontal direction at the occurrence of an earthquake when attaching the suspension metal fitting for supporting a suspension bolt for use in the installation of piping, an equipment apparatus, an electric apparatus or the like, to a flange part of the section steel material such as channel steel or an angle material in equipment work of a construction.SOLUTION: A fall prevention metal fitting comprises a lock body 10 locked to a section steel material, a connecting bolt 40 inserted into a through-hole of the lock body, a receiving body 50 for gripping a suspension metal fitting together with the lock body, and a nut 60. The lock body is composed of a lock piece 11 locked to the section steel material, and a fixing piece 12 extending from the lock piece while being bent. By forming the through-hole 51 of the lock piece in a position in which a shaft part 42 of the connecting bolt can be gripped by the fixing piece and a horizontal face of a horizontal flange of the section steel material, a head part 41 of the connecting bolt can be locked to a corner part of the section steel material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 (Grant)
