Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing prevention device capable of easily switching between a drain function and a freezing prevention function.SOLUTION: A freezing prevention device 8 comprises a drain valve body 10 and a freezing prevention valve body 20. The drain valve body 10 comprises a cylindrical pipe threaded part 12 screwed into a pipe screw hole 2C formed in a piping 2A, and is connected to the piping 2A via a flow path by being screwed into the pipe screw hole 2C. The freezing prevention valve body 20 comprises a cylindrical valve threaded part A1 screwed into a valve screw hole 11A formed in the drain valve body 10, and is connected to the piping 2A via the flow path through the drain valve body 10 by being screwed into the valve screw hole 11A. The freezing prevention valve body 20 has a discharge hole B1 capable of discharging water flowing out from the piping 2A to the outside, and a thermosensitive changeover valve body 22 that switches opening and closing of the flow path from the piping 2A to the discharge hole B1 by a temperature-sensitive operation in the pipe axis direction accompanying an internal temperature change. When the freezing prevention valve body 20 is unscrewed from the drain valve body 10, water flowing out from the piping 2A to the drain valve body 10 is discharged to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 (Grant)
