Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide HER3 antigen-binding molecules, nucleic acids and expression vectors encoding the HER3 antigen-binding molecules, compositions comprising the HER3 antigen-binding molecules, and methods using the HER3 antigen-binding molecules.SOLUTION: In a first aspect, the present invention provides an antigen-binding molecule, optionally isolated, which is capable of binding to HER3 in extracellular region subdomain II. In some embodiments, the antigen-binding molecule inhibits interaction between HER3 and an interaction partner for HER3. In some embodiments, the antigen-binding molecule is capable of binding to a polypeptide comprising or consisting of a specific amino acid sequence.
