Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the duration for which a plurality of battery cells constituting a battery stack are left intact in a voltage stabilization step to be shortened.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a battery stack that comprises a plurality of battery cells which are lithium-ion secondary cells includes: a cell assembly step; an initial charge step; a cell self-discharge step; a voltage value measurement step for measuring the voltage value of a battery cell at completion of the cell self-discharge step; a cell pause step for pausing a battery cell in a normal temperature region after the cell self-discharge step; a charge state adjustment step for adjusting the charge state of the battery cell; a voltage stabilization step for leaving intact the plurality of battery cells constituting the battery stack in the normal temperature region so as to stabilize the voltage of each of the battery cells; and a stack self-discharge step for having the plurality of battery cells constituting the battery stack self-discharged for a given duration in the normal temperature region.
