Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing apparatus of food products which can perform appropriate processing even when the transmittance of ultraviolet light in a housing part changes.SOLUTION: A processing apparatus of food products according to an embodiment irradiates a food product, which is housed inside a housing part capable of allowing ultraviolet light to pass through the part, with the ultraviolet light. The processing apparatus of food products comprises: an irradiation part which has a light source irradiating the ultraviolet light, and irradiates the food product housed in the housing part with the ultraviolet light; a moving part which moves relative positions of the irradiation part and the food product housed in the housing part; and a controller which controls the irradiation part and the moving part.
