Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a low-viscosity pasty polymerization curable composition containing a polymerizable monomer, a filler and a heat polymerization initiator by using a biaxial kneader without spoiling the characteristic of a composition when kneading by a conventional batch method.SOLUTION: A production method of a pasty polymerization curable composition includes: supplying after confirming that a viscosity and dilatant of a target are in a predetermined range, a filler-containing powder raw material and a liquid raw material containing a polymerizable monomer and a heat polymerization initiator so as to be the predetermined composition to a biaxial kneader having a general-purpose body structure in which a screw is rotatably installed into a cylindrical cylinder of a barrel; bringing a barrel temperature of a kneading part to 25degC-45degC; and performing kneading by adjusting a cylinder inner diameter, a clearance minimum value between a cylinder inner wall and the screw in the kneading part, and a rotary speed of the screw at kneading, and putting a shear stress in the biaxial kneader at kneading, calculated by predetermined formula based on the viscosity within 3-250 kPa.SELECTED DRAWING: None (Grant)
