Shear plates 4 are joined at pier panel parts 2F on the indoor surface side of the outer plate, and the shear plates are formed at a position away from window corner parts MS at the window opening in a vehicle body vertical direction. A window upper transverse bone member 31 positioned and extended above the pier panel part and a window lower transverse bone member 32 positioned and extended below the pier panel part have cross-section hat shapes having two flanges joined on the indoor surface of the outer plate, and flanges 312, 321 on the window opening side of the window upper transverse bone member and the window lower transverse bone member are extended to an upper end 41 and a lower end 42 of the shear plates, and joined on the indoor surface of the outer plate along the upper end and the lower end of the shear plates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 (Grant)
