Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery device for an autonomous travel device on an overhead wire, in which the recovery device does not require radio control, can be downsized, and can be easily used by many workers.SOLUTION: When an autonomous travel device 101 becomes unable to autonomously travel on an overhead wire W, a recovery device 1 moves forward from a steel tower side T2 toward the autonomous travel device 101 by rotation of a travel roller 3 driven by a motor 4 while drawing out a recovery rope R. When reaching the autonomous travel device 101, the recovery device is connected to the autonomous travel device by attraction of a magnetic attraction part 5, and moves backward while towing the autonomous travel device 101 by pulling back the recovery rope R. A recovery rope connection part 6 to which the recovery rope R is connected includes: a rope connection member 61; a holding member 62 that holds the rope connection member in a movable manner between an initial position and a drawing position; an urge member 63 that urges the rope connection member 61 to the initial position; and a switch 9 that inverts the rotation direction of the motor 4 to the backward movement side in interlock with movement of the rope connection member 61 to the drawing position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 (Grant)
