Stage: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loud snoring; and to improve sleep apnea syndrome.SOLUTION: Narrowing of airways caused by drop of lingual radix or uvula into throat is prevented by lateral sleep. A barrier part 1 is installed on the back side, to thereby prevent interruption of lateral sleep caused by rolling over. In order to fix backward shift of the barrier part 1 caused by rolling-over force, a cloth 2 is attached under the barrier part, laid under the sleeping body, and fixed by the body weight, to thereby fix the barrier part 1 by the force. Further, the body is moved forward, to thereby generate a gap with the barrier part 1, and in order to prevent rolling over from becoming possible, a lower side arm is passed through a ring-shaped belt linked to the underside of the barrier part 1, to thereby prevent a lower side shoulder from separating. Since an upper side shoulder is free, restriction feeling in the trunk is small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 (Grant)
