TOKYO, April 13 -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan issued the following news release:

On March 13, commencing at 1:20 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by the delegation of members of Business Co-operation Committees of Japan and India, co-headed by Mr. Rohit Relan, Co-Chairman, India-Japan Business Co-operation Committee and Mr. YASUNAGA Tatsuo, Chairman, Japan-India Business Co-operation Committee. The overview is as follows:

State Minister HORII stated that Japan and India are "Special Strategic Global Partners" which share fundamental values and expressed her gratitude for the activities of Business Co-operation Committees of Japan and India, which drive bilateral economic cooperation. The delegation of members of Business Co-operation Committees of Japan and India referred to the importance of bilateral cooperation in the economic field and stated that they would like to make effort in advancing concrete cooperation between the companies of Japan and India.
