COURTESY VISIT TO THE STATE MINISTER OF JUSTICE BY THE SECRETARY OF THE UNITED NATIONS COMMISSION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE LAW (UNCITRAL)

TOKYO, Dec. 8 -- Ministry of Justice issued the following information:

On 26 November 2025, Mr. MITANI Hidehiro, State Minister of Justice of Japan, received a courtesy visit by Ms. Anna Joubin-Bret, Secretary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

State Minister Mitani and Ms. Joubin-Bret reaffirmed to further strengthen mutual cooperation on the rulemaking in the field of civil and commercial law including dispute resolution system such as international arbitration and mediation.
