TOKYO, Oct. 14 -- Japan Patent Office issued the following press release:

The Japan Patent Office (JPO) hosted the International Forums together with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and intellectual property offices in various countries. The EXPO2025 JPO-WIPO AWARD ceremony was held during the International Forums in order to honor companies that leverage IP to design a better future in areas such as climate change and women's empowerment. In addition, a launch event was held for the Expo special edition of the Green Technology Book published by WIPO. Panel discussions were also held on topics such as approaches taken toward climate change that utilize intellectual property, and promoting empowerment of a broad range of human resources, including women, in the field of intellectual property.
