TOKYO, Nov. 21 -- JASDF issued the following news:
From November 15 to 18, Lieutenant General KOJIMA Takashi, Commander, Air
Development and Test Command, visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and
observed the Dubai Air Show held at the Al Maktoum International Airport. 1
During his visit to the UAE, Lt Gen Kojima participated in the Dubai International
Air Chiefs' Conference 2025 (DIACC 2025). He also engaged in a discussion with
Major General Mohamed Salem Ali Alhameli, Deputy Commander, UAE Air Force
& Air Defence, where they aligned their understanding on regional affairs and
discussed ways to advance future cooperation. Furthermore, he engaged in talks
with air chiefs from other participating countries, sharing the recognition of the
importance of advancing defense cooperation and exchanges. 1
Koku-Jieitai will continue to maintain and strengthen the relationship with the
UAE Air Force & Air Defence and other partners, thereby contributing to peace
and stability in the region.
