Statistical Overview
The purpose of the Statistics on Nursing Care Benefit Expenses is to grasp the status of benefits for nursing care services and to obtain basic information necessary for the smooth operation of the nursing care insurance system and policy planning, such as revising nursing care fees. Statistics have been compiled since the May 2018 review.
All nursing care benefit expense statements, nursing care prevention and daily life support comprehensive project expense statements, and benefit management forms reviewed by the Prefectural Federation of National Health Insurance Organizations, which are stored in the Nursing Care Insurance Comprehensive Database, are compiled, and the original review amounts, excluding errors and re-reviews, are compiled.
However, expenses paid directly by municipalities (reimbursement payments), such as the purchase of welfare equipment and home renovation costs, are not included.
