TOKYO, Nov. 11 -- JASDF issued the following news:
On November 6, General MORITA Takehiro, Chief of Staff, Koku-Jieitai (JASDF)
and Lieutenant General MOMMA Masahito, Vice Chief of Staff, Koku-Jieitai held a
meeting with Major General Kelvin Fan Sui Siong, Chief of Air Force, Republic of
Singapore Air Force.
General Morita expressed his sincere appreciation for the significant support provided by the Republic of Singapore Air Force during the deployment of Koku-Jieitai
aircraft, including F-2 fighter aircraft in Singapore last summer. He also reaffirmed
the importance of further advancing defense cooperation and exchanges between
the two air services.
On the following day, Lieutenant General Momma visited Misawa Air Base together with Major General Fan to interact with commanders and observe units.
Koku-Jieitai will continue to strengthen its partnership with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, thereby contributing to peace and stability in the region.
