On September 30, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba visited Busan, Republic of Korea.
After paying his respects and offering flowers at the grave of Mr. Lee Soo-hyun, the Prime Minister held a summit meeting with President Lee Jae Myung. This was followed by a press conference regarding the summit and related events, and later, he attended a dinner with President Lee.
