⑸ Basic requirements of the procurement :
A The system must have core functions for student registration and academic administration (including curriculum management and grade management), and must also support entrance exam management, syllabus management, tuition exemption management, scholarship management, certificate issuance, career services, health management, and the visualization of learning outcomes. Furthermore, the system must handle a wide range of academic affairs tasks in a standardized and efficient manner, while providing comprehensive support to users (approximately 7,500 students and 3,000 faculty and staff members).
B The procuring system must inherit academic affair data from the current system and must perform to an equal or higher level than the current system. Furthermore, the procuring system must be sufficiently flexible to accommodate future functional expansion.
C The system shall authenticate students, faculty, staff, and other authorized users through the institution's user authentication infrastructure and provide various services based on user attributes. Furthermore, depending on the service, the system shall support mobile access and multilingual functionality (Japanese and English).
D The maintenance and the restoration of the system must be well organized, and the system must be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, except during scheduled maintenance. The supplier must support the university staff and correspond to inquiry on operation of the system.
E The system must be capable of data linkage with other information systems within the university.
F The system works on the campus network system of Gifu University, and must be secure against unauthorized access and other attacks.
